Community rights · license
Ganjaedi belongs to its speakers, not to a private owner.
The project does not claim exclusive ownership of Ganjaedi as a language. People may speak it, write it, teach it, study it, translate it, build tools for it, and create new works in it without asking permission merely for using the language.
Official project materials
Official project-authored grammar descriptions, dictionary annotations and translations, lessons, documentation, machine-readable language data, and similar original materials are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International unless a specific item says otherwise.
Free to use
Speaking, writing, learning, teaching, translating, researching, and creating original works in Ganjaedi do not require project permission.
CC BY-NC-SA 4.0
Protected official project materials may be copied, translated, adapted, and shared non-commercially under the license terms.
Separate permission
Commercial reuse of protected official project materials requires separate permission from the relevant authorized rightsholder or community steward.
No false endorsement
Forks, dialects, alternative dictionaries, and experiments are welcome, but they must not falsely claim official Ganjaedi Community status or endorsement.
Separate rights
Software code, sound recordings, musical compositions and performances, logos, artwork, photographs, fonts, third-party assets, and separately marked material may have different rights and are not automatically covered by the community-materials license.
